The Bully Pulpit Do you continuously send out emails and it feels like no one is home? Sometimes it seems like you're talking at a brick wall because you get no responses. You feel like your emails are not getting read. In fact, you have a low "open" rate and you wonder why you even bother sending emails. Is the problem you or them? Take a look at these email mistakes and see if you're making any of them.

1. Hello {!firstname} (the actual name goes here, not the word firstname.) This never looks good. It means you're too busy to test or you're not sure what you're doing. Always test your emails and send them to yourself first. Check them with an eagle eye and catch errors like the above plus an blatant grammatical errors. Be a professional email marketer.

2. Free, eliminate debt, offer, bonus, discount, won, deal, money, sign up now, guaranteed, work from home... These are considered spam words or phrases and will likely get your email rerouted to the subscriber's spam trap by their email provider. Get a list of current spam words with a quick Internet search. Be creative and find other words to say what you want to say that aren't considered spam.

3. "You Can Make $20,000 in 30 days!!" Your email subject line has to be believable. With so many emails to open every day, this sort of subject line will help people decide they definitely don't want to open your email. Your emails need to build your credibility as someone who is trustworthy. Don't destroy it by using subject lines and content that are unbelievable.

4. Long emails with huge paragraphs. People are short on time and in a hurry. They don't want to read long emails with big boring paragraphs. Remember, it's about them, not you. Make your emails entertaining and short, and get to the point. Chop long paragraphs into small paragraphs to add white space and make it easier to read. If you make your email easier to read, the odds are better that they'll actually read it and see your call to action.

5. Make every single email a product promotion. People opted into your list to receive valuable information that you've promised to deliver via email. If your emails only contain promotion after promotion, they'll stop reading your emails. They might not opt out right away, but that's the next step. Of course you want to promote to your list, but not all the time. Send helpful info, free reports, etc. and they're more likely to open and read your emails. Remember, people open emails with a "What's In It For Me?" frame of mind.

Take some time and analyze what you've been sending out to your list of subscribers. A list, preferably a big list, can be the bread and butter for an internet marketer. But you have to send quality emails or your emails won't even be opened, let alone read. Take steps today to make your emails something you'd be happy to receive yourself.

It is my goal when conducting my TriVita and ItsGoodBusiness.net presentations, to be professional, short and to the point. I planned out my strategy, and began working on a power point presentation concerning the ItsGoodBusiness.net business model, as well as a little introduction about TriVita, the products and the overall feeling that I have in being a part of that organization.

Most of you know me, but for those who do not, I will delve a little deeper into my feelings about Veretekk, and what it has meant for my TriVita Business. As you may know, search engine optimization is as much a part of my life as breathing. I literally dive head first into a new project. I love to write, so the content is absolutely no problem for me at all.

Each time that I work with the , I marvel at the absolute simplicity of it, and yet, at the same time, so utterly effective and sophisticated that no other SEO social networking system on Google can touch it. Obviously, I was testing the Platinum system way before anyone else knew about it. I would watch as I would add content, keywords and links, and post them to live submission services, my head would literally explode with the absolute genius work of Tom and Mike. As I talked with them along the way, I began getting the supreme feeling that Veretekk is certainly no ordinary nuts and bolts system. In this brilliant program of codes and buttons, there lies the inevitable fact that Veretekk is also a very special and intuitive system as well. Obviously, you have to work with the system as much as I have done to unlock each and every aspect, but in saying that once you have gotten your head around the fact that it is more than an Internet Marketing ! system, you begin to lock into the unrefutable power of marketing online, getting search positions on Google, Yahoo, MSN, WindowsLive and the other major searches of the Internet.

While piecing together my presentation, I became even more aware of the power of seamless integration of this massive cranking machine called Veretekk. I have trained many people in Veretekk in the art and science of search engine optimization. A handful have gotten it, but unfortunately most will not. The ego of man and woman is amazing. As I was walking through my presentation tonight, I knew that I could easily talk about Theory, Strategies, Implementation and Results. These are the key points of my presentation, and I feel that it very well states the effectiveness of ItsGoodBusiness.net, as well as Veretekk. I am not here to promote anything at all. I am here to give people real information for a change. If they are searching on Google for a good business strategy and plan, then obviously I can help them. If they are looking for hype and excitement, then I suggest that they go somewhere else, as it is my creed never to approach marketing a business on Google in! that manner.

I believe if more people would actually learn how to promote effectively, become a professional presenter and get down to the essence of working at home, everyone would profit much better. Learn to be a better presenter, and you will receive rewards for your efforts. Be a pitch man or woman, and you will receive the opposite. In my opinion pitch men belong in the circus. I have seen way too much hype on the Internet. I have seen way too much excitement. Any time someone tells me that they are so excited to be joining my organization, I tell them do not be excited, rather go to work!

The new shift in Veretekk is going to be seen across the Internet as the place to come, for any leaders in network marketing, or MLM companies, and train their associates on how to implement Veretekk into their marketing campaigns. I can think of no better time to be online than now, with the current economic decline. People that I know are losing their jobs, and searching for something to do. What better target audience that those looking for work at home businesses? I fully realize that most having a Veretekk system, do not really full understand, nor utilize the raw and unmatched power. For those that do, I say good job! For those that do not, I say go back to work! I have been with Veretekk some 6 years now, and honestly, I learn each and every day some new part of the system. I fully develop all the resources available, and am dedicated to building my TriVita business utilizing the power of Veretekk and Google. I can say this for an undeniable fact. Veretekk i! s the system to use! If you do not understand this system, you should take a break and visualize what your goals and ambitions are. Honestly, if money is your primary interest, you are probably going to fall into the circus barker category. People entrenched in the MLM mentality, will probably never see the true and intrinsic value of owning and operating a Veretekk system.

In concluding my short presentation, I was still impressed with the . After just being on a web conference for TriVita, I was amazed that they are not utilizing the power there that is available to all. I know, that after being a Vereconference Master Distributor, it was part of my job to test the other conferencing systems out there. I tested most of them, and came to the conclusion that Vereconference from Veretekk was indeed the best. This is just another example of this powerful and sophisticated marketing system.

Now, with the upcoming launch of V2, Tom is working again to provide new and phenomenal business marketing systems that will benefit us all. I am still testing the CPanel system and am quite impressed with the ease and flexibility found in creating new sites and blogs. It is incredible to think that everything that you possibly need in the way of SEO tools can be found in a Veretekk system. I just have a question. Why in the world would you throw good money away on some other so-called legendary system, when Veretekk is right there in front of you? Why would you not upgrade that silver system to Gold, as obviously, you will never have the power that you will with the Gold system. If it is a matter of the money, surely you can sell something to get your hands on a Veretekk system. If you are committed to excellence in website promoting, then you will have all that, and much more with Veretekk.

The Veretekk Marketing System can be used to promote any home based
business, opportunity or anything you desire.  To get started, your first step is to
JOIN Veretekk at the free Silver level.  As a Silver member, you can attend most of

So, what is Veretekk and how does it work?  Simply put, Veretekk is a
comprehensive marketing system that has multiple capabilities, resources and
tools.  It contains built-in SEO (search engine optimization) tools to get your
websites pushed to the top of search engine results based on the keywords you
target.  It also gives you the ability to generate leads for your business and
automatically grows a spam-free database of email addresses for you to market to.

Step 1 - Configure Access To Your Veretekk Email Account

After you upgrade to the Gold level, you will want to configure your Veretekk email
account.  This is NOT the same as your Veretekk autoresponders - FYI.  The
easiest way to do this is by creating a
Google gmail account for your Veretekk
email access.  If you already have a gmail account, you can use that.

If you choose not to use gmail -

To continue setup in gmail, please log-in to your gmail account and click on
"Settings" near the top right hand corner of the page.  Now, click on "Accounts"
and under this section, click on the "Add An Email Account" under the "Get Mail
From Other Accounts" Area.  The username you want to enter is your Veretekk
username@justhemail.com - so for example, if your Veretekk username is
MyUserName, you would enter: MyUserName@justhemail.com .  Then, enter the
password you use to log-in to your Veretekk account.  The POP server is going to
be: pop.justhemail.com and set the Port at 110.  Do not check any of the boxes
below that.  Make sure you save these settings and at this point, your new
Veretekk email will be set up.

Gmail is ideal for Veretekk email access because gmail is configured to
automatically check your Veretekk email account several times a day.  This keeps
your Veretekk inbox clear and prevents it from clogging up.  From this point
forward, check your gmail account for your Veretekk email.

Step 2 - Begin Configuring Your Portals - Click Here To See How

Veretekk gives you several dozen portals (websites) that you can independently
configure.  The strategy here is to decide how you want each portal to promote
and generate leads for your primary business or businesses.  The goal is to
configure each portal (website) with its own unique Title, Description and
Keywords.  Each portal is an independent website that is capable of drawing free
Internet traffic to it.

    which is exactly the market you want to attract.  When they sign up for
    Blastomatic and use the service, your autoresponders can then begin
    marketing your business opportunity to them.

  • BlogFather - This is a blog site that provides free promotion of all created
    blogs.  The service is free and attracts Internet traffic from people who are
    trying to promote an opportunity.  Again, this is the market you are trying to
    reach.

  • Daily Message Online - This portal allows people to sign up for a free
    inspirational daily email and attracts a broader audience than some of the
    other portals.  Portals like this allow you to widen your market and appeal to
    a larger group of people.

  • VereTracking - This is a free website traffic tracking program and allows
    people to sign up for the service and then use it to track and evaluate traffic
    to their own websites.

You will configure all of your portals so that each one is an independent website
with it's own Meta Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords.  Also, be sure to
configure the 5 links in each portal.  I adhere to the following structure for these
links:  The first link is your primary business and the second link is the next portal
in your backoffice of Veretekk.  Even if you do not adhere to the linking rules
relayed here for your other links, it is important that your second link always be the
next portal in your Veretekk backoffice so that all your portals are "daisy-chained"
together.  This is important because when search engines "spider" your portal
websites, they follow every link on the page.  If all of your sites are "daisy-chained"
together, then all of your Veretekk portals will be "seen" by the search engines.

The third link is your secondary business while the fourth link is one of your profit
portals in Veretekk like Leadsomatic or VereConference and the fifth link is
another business or link you are trying to promote.  Each link should be a primary
keyword.  Take a look at the 5 links in the portals I list above as an example.  Each
link is a keyword and if you click on that keyword, it will link to the site I am
promoting.

Step 3 - Submit Each Portal Using Several Submission Tools

After you custom configure each portal, it is vitally important that you submit each
portal using a few different free tools:


  • SubmitExpress.com - This is an independent third party free submission tool
    that submits your websites to over 40 different search engines including
    Google, Yahoo, MSN and a few key directories.  You will need to manually
    submit to Yahoo and MSN on the confirmation page, so be sure to carefully
    read through the submission page after you submit for directions on how to
    do that.  Use the Veretekk email address for each portal when you submit
    each portal site because you want to get your multiple Veretekk email
    addresses out there and attracting email.  Veretekk captures the email
    address of every incoming email and then begins sending them your custom
    autoresponder emails!

Why submit your portal websites?  The answer is simple, if you want free traffic to
your portals or any website you are marketing, you must submit them to the search
engines for inclusion.  Also, the more minor search engines your website is visible
in, the more likely it is to be included in the major search engines.  The results are
not immediate and take time to be included and ranked - be patient - sometimes it
takes months to develop a website portal before it begins generating free Internet
traffic.  

Step 4 - Submit Your Website Portals To Multiple Directories

This is an important step because search engines give websites ranking points if
they "see" the sites in directories.  In other words, if you want high ranking in
search engine results, you need visibility in many different directories.  The best
known Directory of course is
DMOZ.org and it is also the hardest directory to be
included in.  However, there are thousands of directories, so do not fear!  
Following is a list of directories and a paid submission services I use:

  • Directory Maximizer - This is a paid submission service that can submit your
    website portals to over 1,000 directories with one click.  It is user friendly,
    effective and turnkey.  I use it often and it is well worth the money because
    of the time it saves you.  This Free e-Book explains how to use it.

  • List of Free Directories - A listing of several hundred free individual
    directories you can submit to one at a time.  While it is free, it is time
    consuming to manually submit to each directory.

It is a very good idea to watch all of the Training Modules in your Veretekk
